This island is just outside Ocean City and features some of the last of the wild horse herds in the United States. These horses roam the island, giving families a chance to experience the feel of freedom that a running horse can so share. Bring along a picnic and plan on spending several hours in this untouched environment.
ATLANTA, GA
Home to the largest aquarium in the world, your family can spend the day enjoying the sight of sea life and then continue onto the botanical garden and the children’s garden. Come nighttime, enjoy the sweet southern air as you look out at a sky full of stars.
LAKEDALE RESORT AT THREE LAKES
The state of Washington has numerous campgrounds, but Lakedale Resort is one of the best. You can opt to set up camp in your RV and have access to your own firepit. Spend your days exploring the three lakes. Fishing, canoeing, or hiking are all options. The kids can also be entertained by planned activities such as learning to tie-dye.

South Dakota offers much in the way of exploration. At Blue Bell campground, your family will find itself transported to an earlier time where hayrides and horseback riding were daily activities. ZION NATIONAL PARK
For a true wilderness adventure, Utah’s Zion National Park is hard to beat. Hike up a trail and cool off under the waterfall. Spread out a blanket and enjoy the day or explore the ghost towns on either side of the park. It’s like taking a trip back to the 1800s and is one your family won’t soon forget.
