Craig at the Fridley location is the best! I am new to RV ownership, and he walked me through everything! Not only the buying process, but also the intricacies of camper/camping life. He took his time to answer every single question I had, showed me RVs that met my needs/wants, and was available through the entire process. There was no pressure to buy outside of my budget and he worked with the Brainerd location to make sure I was able to see and purchase a used park model RV that met all of my needs. He gave excellent advice regarding RV ownership and shared some of his own stories. If I am ever looking to upgrade or make another purchase, I hope Craig is still at Hilltop... he will be my "go-to" person for all things RV. We were on a Cross Country Trip when one of the rods of our Pop Up camper snapped from the frame. We drove into Hilltop looking for support. They were amazing. They were able to suggest what to do to my husband, give him the parts and helped us reconnect the rod to the frame, all in a 20 minute period. We were back on the road and able to continue our trip. At first it was more of a pain, for every door they closed I opened a new door until I found a secret door that lead David and me in to discuss the problem we were having, at the end we were very satisfied with our camper, we can't afford much, so Austin really did me a big favor after they sold a a camper we were going to look at, but Austin showed me a 2011 Evergreen Lite camper that just came in, I was disappointed at first, but man it was the best camper for the price, he let me talk to David by video chat to show him what it looked like. I was so happy to find this one, because the bathroom has its own back room, all by itself. I really love our camper even though it took me some time to do it. Tori and Austin gave their all and of course General Manager did some figuring out for me. We even bought outside furniture to go with the camper. Thank you to the Hilltop Oronoco crew! Everyone we talked to was kind, helpful, professional and friendly! Beth worked with us to be sure we found what we were looking for and treated us like family! We took up Beth's day going camper to camper, slides in and out, steps up and down, etc. She went above and beyond for us! We had ideas of what we wanted but she gave us options, made sure we got the "real feel" of each camper we went in! Beth even "lugged" a battery pack from the office to the camper lot for us when the golf cart didn't have enough charge to move the slides! (It was a busy day at Hilltop) When we wanted to go back and be sure we were making the right choice after we had already been in and closed it up, she had a helpful smile and willingness to help us find our new camper! We had stopped at the competitor, and they wouldn't even open the slides, saying due to snow accumulation, but that didn't stop Beth! She was popping the slides before we even asked! Everyone we came in contact with were wonderful, informative and helpful!

Everything! We purchased our first Jayco camper from a different dealer and the experience from that dealership compared to this dealership are night and day. We brought our Jayco Pinnacle 5th wheel up to Hilltop in Fridley to have a Jayco structural defect fixed. From the moment we pulled into the lot we were impressed by the customer service provided. Bryan Wharton provided top notch service and excellent communication every step of the way. We were so thrilled that we requested they also assist in getting the Jayco warranty items addressed since we had been very dissatisfied with our Des Moines, IA dealer. 7/8/21 - While getting ready to go on a camping trip with our Jayco Pinnacle 5th wheel, our refrigertor/kitchen slide out refused to close. We tried to overide the automatic slide control using previously learned procedures but it did not work. A call to the Hilltop Camper & RV Service Department connected us with Chris and JP who patiently helped us for 25-30 minutres to debug and fix the problem and reset the slide controls. We then happily left for our camping trip. This above and beyond help is what we have consistently found in our interactions with Hilltop. Thanks Chirs and JP! We recently bought a Jayco Redhawk Motorhome from Hilltop RV in Alexandria. We could not be more pleased with the service and follow-up we have received!
Our sales person, Braddrich Birch, kept us informed when a Class C motorhome became available and made the contacts for us so we were able to purchase it. The finance person, Abram, was terrific in arranging financing at a good rate. They also gave us a complete walk-through to explain how everything in the motorhome worked. What we like best about Hilltop RV is that it is not just buying a motorhome and saying goodbye. The ongoing help with questions and service has been fantastic. They say, "We are always here for you.", and they mean it! Thank you Hilltop!

The communication was fantastic! I saw two campers for sale and sent inquiries. Almost immediately, I received an email saying those were sold (not surprising given the current market conditions), but was sent a list of other available campers. I clicked on one, but there were no pictures yet. Sounds like it literally just came in on a trade-in. The sales person, Jake Young, called and texted me the next day and sent pictures. I live out of town, so needed to put money down to hold the camper and my uncle, who lives in the area, came over to take a look. We paid for everything over the phone and through email and just picked up the camper this weekend. Jake Young was really great. Very, very impressed by him and the service we received! We recently purchased a Jayco 5th wheel from Hilltop RV of Rochester MN. We ordered it in September, it arrived in January and they kindly stored it for us until we picked it up last week. The entire process has been awesome. Our sales representative is Chuck Hart. He showed us several RV's at our request and also showed a couple of them to us multiple times as we worked on making a decision of what we wanted. He was kind, courteous, not pushy at all and listened to us as to what we were looking for. As people who have never owned an RV before, he also shared knowledge that helped us along the way as we told him what it was we thought we wanted. We got exactly what we wanted. Bruce in Finance was awesome. Explained all the financing, was very helpful. Mike in service walked us through the RV, showing us all that we needed to know prior to taking possession. The service and parts department has been very helpful as we have purchased items from their department that everyone needs or that some of us just "want". We looked for RV's at several dealerships in three states prior to deciding to purchase at Hilltop RV. Recently bought a Jayco Eagle 5th Wheel from Hilltop Campers. Loretta and I found the camper we wanted on the internet from our home in Omaha NE. We had previously reviewed the specifics of this model and those similar, so we were pretty well informed and ready to make a deal, all depending on the trade-in value offered for our used travel trailer by Hilltop and how we perceived their sincerity, integrity, and willingness to work with us over the phone and internet.
We made an inquiry via the net and were contacted by Dave Born, our soon to be Salesman. Being no stranger to a lot of salesmen being superficial and patronizing, Dave came across different. He was matter of fact, positive and accommodating. He took our trade-in info and came back the next day with the verdict. To our surprise, the Hilltop offer beat Camping World and several other dealers ( in Florida) by thousands.
We secured the 5th Wheel via Credit card, agreed that we would arrive 4 days later for delivery, the only catch was they were normally closed on that day. Rather than being an obstacle, David rallied the troops (employees) and he met us in the parking lot when we arrived (it was about 26 degrees). Noting we were on a tight schedule , he got our truck in for the hitch installation, arranged for our supper and a place to stay the night.
Dave was a wonderful host and ensured the buying process went flawless and the $50 gift card for supplies was a nice surprise too.
The entire process, including a 5th wheel hitch being installed, financing, inspection, 5th wheel orientation and training took around 4 hours, mainly due to their preplanning and preparation; no glitches, no surprises. We made it back to Omaha the next day as planned safe and sound.

My wife and I were on vacation last summer in Minnesota. We were going to leave our campgroud outside of Alexandria only to find out that our black tank valve was stuck in place. We tried the Jayco dealer in Alex and one other place (by phone to see if they could get us in) but they just couldn't be bothered. That was NOT the case at Hilltop! They didn't know us from Adam but it didn't matter. They treated us like we were their most faithful customer. They fixed the issue in a timely manner and while we were there the ENTIRE staff looked out for our needs and comfort.
